Janda and I feel like we haven't been making much headway into our house full of projects. But the truth is that we're getting there and the list of things that need to be done before we move in is getting smaller each week.

Before- kitchen dark and crowded

After- kitchen light and crowded

Before- too dark!

After- getting there, time for finish paint

Before- bedroom #1 makes no sense and can barely fit bed

After- corner cleared of poorly placed closet, queen sized bed- no problem!

After- new closet built abutting the one from the other bedroom, better use of space

Before- an empty 2nd doorway that led out of our room

After- a 3rd closet, now two closets surround the exposed chimney

Someone doesn't like the new house and is hiding in a corner staring at the wall
(Hint he's the wimpiest 20 lb cat ever!)

Before- finally a break and some time with my niece Emma

After- not so happy baby!

More demo

In addition to tearing down a wall and two closets this weekend, today we got rid of the bathtub surround and exposed a beam in a bedroom. Demo is almost done!
