Winter wonderland
Although I can't wait for spring to get here so I don't have to wear 20 layers to the outdoor track, I have to say that a good snowstorm does make everything beautiful.

Training this week was HORRIBLE, but it wasn't my fault, as I had a horrible stomach bug, which forced me to call in sick for the first time since becoming a teacher!

I felt awful all week until the weekend! I didn't start eating solid foods again til Thursday night and my stomach has been weird since I got sick on Sunday last week. Hopefully it is all better now though. Yesterday was OK and while I did feel pretty yucky running, it was bearable. Sometimes you just have to ride it out.

Another semi-easy week, trying to get used to weightlifting again. I've been rather sore, but I think that this is what I need to make that jump in speed back to what I used to have.
